The up surge in public transport as fuel rockets has meant councils seek approval for more bus shelters. Trouble is not many residents want them. Here is one idea.  Yes we do have a street called Eatwell Ave.

The Greater Wellington Council has taken an initial step to relieve the shortage of trains as more use the commuter rail services. A 30 tonne articulated lorry carrying frozen chicken and chips crashed into a house after travelling off the highway at speed over several lawns before driving into a young women's bedroom around 2am in South Kapiti.

A local miniature railway was recently shut down on a busy day when a labour department inspector visited-unannounced and shut the operation down, citing it did not hold a currant ticket to operate. Whilst most who run and own the railway are qualified and certified engineers with steam tickets, a certain lapse in bureaucracy had delayed them receiving the covering ticket. Council state it could take 2 years!!!!!
