She returned to Falmouth in 1981, and went up the river,
and lay on the buoys at King Harry, on the River Fal. Whilst there the funnel
was painted black, within a day of arrival, and was later sold to Greek
interests, connected to Kappa Maritime. They made a template to put her new name
on, but when it was painted on the ship, it was put on back-to-front and so her
name was spelt YDAL NEDLOG, instead of GOLDEN LADY.
The name was soon put back right. She arrived in Chittagong Roads on 20.6.1983
for Breaking up in Bangladesh. (Courtesy Cornish Shipping )
