All earlier colour images on these pages have generally been scanned directly from 35 mm slides or negatives using a  Minolta Dimâge Scan Dual , slide/negative scanner. This gives an exceptional image quality of higher resolution than using a flatbed scanner.
Other images have been scanned with a HP ScanJet 3300C flatbed scanner.
   
Recent images have been taken on a Nikon Coolpix 5700 with 5 Million pixels and a Canon 30D SLR with 8.2 Million pixels
