The luncheon was held at The Naval Club (R.N.V.R. Officers Association) situated in Mayfair not far from Piccadilly. A traditional gentleman's club occupying  a listed Georgian Town House, the 18th Century residence of the Earl of Chatham, brother of William Pitt the Younger, Prime Minister of Great Britain. Well appointed with lounges, a bar and dining room for members. Accommodation is also available of a fairly basic but comfortable nature.

The luncheon was well attended with some 73 persons attending. An enjoyable time was had by all, with a great many anchors and pistons being dragged around the room. Unfortunately Mr. Edmund Vestey was unable to attend due to family illness.

Thanks goes to  Capt. Thomas Jones for all the hard work organising the luncheon once again.
