Launched as the Columbia Star at Burmeister & Wain’s in Copenhagen, she was the last vessel to be delivered by them prior to WWII. The ill-fated Adelaide Star 1 was never completed for Blue Star Line and was seized by the Germans when they invaded Denmark in April 1940.

  The short-lived  Patagonia Star

She was another example of multiple names, being the Columbia Star, Dryden , Patagonia Star, Columbia Star and finally reverting back to the Dryden again.
