  Transferred: 1942 to Fredrick Leyland & Co. Ltd.- same managers  
  Damaged: 12/08/1942 by German aircraft torpedo  off  Skuki Channel [40] in the Mediterranean Sea and arrived Malta 14/8/1942. She was on a voyage from Liverpool to Malta. One crew member was lost.  
  Repaired: 1943 at Puerto Belgrano, Argentina  
  Transferred: 1950 to Lamport & Holt Line - same managers  
  Transferred: 1959 to Blue Star Line Ltd  
  Sold: 7/1963 to Margalante Compania Naviera S.A., Liberia, and renamed Enea  
  Sold: 1963 to Japanese shipbreakers Izumi-Ohtsu, Japan and arrived at Osaka 15/10/1963 to be broken up

At some point in 1943 the Brisbane Star underwent temporary repairs at the Argentine Naval Dockyard at Puerto Belgrano, Argentina,  View in Goggle Earth after being torpedoed on the Malta Convoy. Puerto Belgrano was and still is the largest naval base of the Argentine Navy. Note the anti-aircraft guns mounted on the bridge wings and the gun aft.
