Fitted with a 300 ton Stülcken jumbo derrick, she was an easily recognisable ship. At the time it was largest lift ever to be fitted to a seagoing merchant vessel. 

She was utilised to carry heavy machinery to the Snowy River Hydroelectric Scheme in Australia. The photograph shows her in dry dock in Liverpool.
