These superb photographs above were taken by Peter Stacey on 24/25th November 1991. They show the transformation of the ACT 3 to the  America Star and show the very first sailing. The other ship is the Southland Star, she anchored the morning of the 25th. The Southland Star was to supply the funnel paint, so he could get the first photographs he even took funnel paint from the  Southland Star  by pilot launch.

She arrived on the 16/02/03  at Shanghai and was handed over to Chinese shipbreakers  for demolition on the 19/02/03. So being the last ship in service to carry the Blue Star funnel from the original Blue Star ownership.
